What are Tera Raids?

Tera Raid Battles are cooperative multiplayer battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet where up to 4 players team up to battle and catch a Terastallized wild Pokémon. These powerful Pokémon have shifted to a different Tera Type, changing their strengths and weaknesses dramatically from their standard typing.

Raid Difficulty Levels

Why Tera Types Matter

A Fire-type Charizard that becomes Dragon Tera Type will be weak to Dragon, Fairy, and Ice moves instead of its usual Water, Electric, and Rock weaknesses.
